Straight off the Runway, and into your Home

In Blog by Ron Nathan

This past Fall’s runway shows gave us a glimpse at what we’ll be wearing in Spring 2013. Designers of fashion, as well as fabric and furniture, welcomed the tastefulness of tweed and the allure of animal prints. Here are a few examples of how these fashion trends can be adapted to work in your home decor:

Traffic-Stopping Tweed:
The consummate classic has inspired a whole new generation of luxury fabrics.

Survival of the Fittest:
Exotic animal prints and intense color is a spirited mix, and our shyness in uniting them is long extinct.

Statement Stripes:
Stripes are as figure-flattering on the female form as they are shapely on a settee – stripes such as these never cross the line into the lackluster.
